CLASSES


Our learners are divided into the following three age groups:

Age 18 months to 3 years class – this provides the most basic education a child can have and we use the NCF (National Curriculum Framework) as the method of teaching.

Age 3 to 4 years class - this class is the next level of basic education as the learners from the first class continue to learn through NCF.

Age 5 to 6 years class(Grade R) – through the use of CAPS(Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement) this is the last level class of the centre and the learners are prepared for Grade 1.

Laptops


As part of the our teaching methods we use laptops for our learners and have found that in addition of the knowledge they get from the educational software activities they have also got the below benefits from the laptops:

Develop listening skills
Eye- hand co- ordination
Increases vocabulary
Technological innovation

Robotics


Siphephile Educare has now introduce robotics(coding blocks) in their curriculum

Coding blocks stimulates children's eye-hands co-ordination
Creativity
Small muscles
Taking turns and it also help children to explore about the world around them as they learn about Science, Technology,Art, Mathematics and Engineering
